I’m out at polls talking to voters this morning in Gwinnett County, Ga. There are about two dozen voters waiting in line for polls to open at my first stop of the day. #ElectionDay

Just before 8 am and there’s no outside line at Lucky Shoals Park community center in Gwinnett County. Things seem smooth here so far.
So far, at the polling precincts that AJC reporters have visited in Gwinnett county, there have been no severe issues or lengthy waits since doors opened. If you’re in Gwinnett and having any Election day trouble, let me know.

Gwinnett County spokesman tells @zach_ehansen that poll workers were incorrectly turning away voters over absentee ballot confusion. Spokesperson says issue is now sorted out. Anthony Sledge, 20, votes for the third time and in his first presidential election today in Snellville. He said it was fast and easy.
396 ballots cast as of 10 am at Anderson-Livsey Elementary School in Gwinnett County, Georgia. There’s no wait and a trickle of voters walking in and out.
