1)Re. #LeoGate elected figures are held to a/c but the unelected government is not. In 2001 Eddie Sullivan, Sec Gen in the DEASP allowed Charlie McCreevy raid almost a billion from the PRSI fund for an election giveaway budget for the reward of the top job in the Dept Finance.

2)Secs Gen are Accounting Officers & along with the C&AG have Constutional obligations to protect the State's assets from unscrupulous Ministers. Civil Servants are in violation of their contracts if the act for self aggrandisement. Yet, no one pulled a Eddie Sullivan up abt it.

3)The same goes for the C&AG who approved this heist on the State's Assets. Both Sullivan & the C&AG shld still be charged. That we faced a pensions' crisis was recognised yrs before this transfer of assets. My attempts to raise this with the late Jim Mitchell (FG) were fruitless

4) What LV did is bad, but pales into insignificance in C/F to the faceless, unelected Eddie Sullivan, the most corrupt civil servant in the State's history. Sullivan then authorised the billion to FAS. Then he went into FAS to clean up the mess. Nobody picked up the conflict...

5) the conflict of interest of Sullivan's position on FAS went under the radar just as his criminal act when he allowed the raid on the PRSI fund did. You don't go from a services ministry, Social Welfare to the apex of Finance without doing some major wrong. Sullivan squandered

6) the State's assets for personal ambition. In Finance, he headed up the disastrous decentralisation, FAS & much more. Until the people wake up to the malfeasance in the permanent Govt this country will never be run properly. What rogue snr Civil Servants get away with is unreal

7)It is timely to post this again now that Varadkar faces a Dail grilling. When will Eddie Sullivan and the C&AG face a grilling even before the PAC? Sullivan was up to his neck in the banking whitewash too. His 40 yr ally is Josephine Feehily. They are both as FF as they are FG

8) Feehily's best friend was my boss in the DEASP. Feehily was head of HR then. Her bestie boasted that Feehily had promoted twice an alleged embezzler because his family was in with Haughey/Ahern. When ai eventually put this on record I was subject to pice intimidation and...
