The ASD dx is important to me as an example of the intersection of white privilege and ableism. There's countless examples of black autistic ppl being unjustly incarcerated. Their dx isn't considered unless it's used negatively.

This is why it's crucial for the Disabled community to be committed anti racists. Black people are being imprisoned or killed for being autistic, but white men diagnosed with autism helps them avoid imprisonment.
