Essentially, "Bang [Countryname]" era @rooshv (he is pro-marriage now) and @RationalMale and people with blogs that no one can find now like Roissy/Chateau Heartiste and all the rest of it were reactionary. They were just one manifestion of men responding to signal women put out.
That signal—still put out, is that, women:
1) refuse in youth to be chaste/expecting this is wrongheaded
2) insist on education and a career/at least their income in tandem with a litany of sexual partners
3) will not cede any legal protections from the older marital paradigm

The men doing this stuff don't need to "dress well", get in shape, brush their teeth, try a new haircut—nor are they all simply psychologically fixated on problems they don't have.

What we have is a completely unnatural situation where women's pursuit of high quality genes, manifest in physical/sexual prowess, and material stability manifest in economic heft, are BIFURCATED.

We are NOT getting children from all of the Pareto distributed sex with men in a small part of a genetic bell curve that most women have from ~15 to ~30 when they legally marry a man who may not have even been there, for his inhabiting part of a different economic curve!
We are NOT getting children by fathers who are to some degree genetically Taller, Better Looking, Stronger, and More Charming, for all the premarital sex had by women, post Sexual Revolution, from ~15 to around ~30.

I believe women, as a gender, who ARE RESPONSIBLE—by dint of having been given responsibility, having enjoyed responsibility, and having decided to exercise responsibility—for much of society in the last century of Western, now global civ., have to take action as a gender.
