The government rolling out mass testing in Liverpool using a novel test for which the published sensitivity and specificity data is just 'pass' and 0 details of the plan or evaluation of benefits, risks, and limitations is not only outrageous, but very concerning.
WHO advise against using rapid antigen tests in this way.

If you're going against WHO reccomendations, and using a test without publishing it's profile, you need to publish detailed plans and evaluations.
Also I just want to say here because I don't want to promote distrust in tests and I believe this is a good option for us.

But it needs to be done transparently, and ensure the plan is detailed enough with all risks evaluated.
