There are lots of factors to consider when investigating this relationship:
- Were the movements individually relevant?
- Did the intervention target those individually relevant movements?
- How many measures were recorded
- Validity of tools
- Is movement a by-product?

There are several limitations to consider:
- Low overall quality
- Various study designs (measurement tools, the time between measures, the primary target of intervention)
- And more (discussed in the paper)
- Assessor blinding? (This was rarely done/reported)
