As a Christian do you stay true to the message?

Looking for new insight and Rhema is cool, Knowing scriptures from cover to Cover is cool

But do you live up to that which you know? That's the most important

That's what Paul calls "Staying True To The Message"

Philippians 3:16 AMP says "Only let us stay true to what we have already attained."

I love this scripture for some certain reasons, there are many Christians that are always looking for New Rhema and Revelations.
Sometimes the motive that they have is wrong. Sometimes they go for this new "Revelations" so they can use it for arguments or to show that they know more than their fellow Christians

So they gather all the knowledge but don't live up to anyone. And it's sad!
They gather alot of knowledge but don't stay true to them. Meaning they don't live out the truth of God's Word. It's just mere Knowledge

For instance, a Christian can know all the scriptures about love but in his actions he isn't walking in Love.
That Christian isn't staying true to what he/she knows

That's why Paul said "Only let us stay true to what we have already attained. Philippians 3:16 AMP
I love how the Remedy Translation puts it, it says "The most important thing is not that we know all things, but that we honestly live up to what we do know."

Paul Lived up and Lived out the message that he believed in, He lived up to what he knew
That's why in the next verse Paul said "My friends, copy my example as others do and take note of the way to behave since you have us as a model."
Philippians 3:17 FBV

I love how the NLT puts this verse
it says "Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives after mine, and learn from those who follow our example.
Philippians 3:17 NLT

Paul was so confident that he was living up to the truth of the gospel, that he could confidently tell people to pattern their lives after His!
People learn through several ways, people learn through teaching that is the things you tell them and people learn also by watching you that is seeing what you do! So as Christians the Christian life and conduct can be taught through the way you live.
It's easy for others to watch your example and copy it!

That's Why it's always confusing when Some Christians teach on love but in their actions they live far from it.

They aren't living up to what they know, they aren't staying true to the message.
Paul Never lived that way, in the book of acts Paul said something striking. He said "When they arrived, he said to them, “All of you know how I’ve lived and conducted myself while I was with you. From the first day I set foot in western Turkey Acts 20:18 TPT
How he lived and conducted himself was a testimony that no one could deny. He showed them the way to living by him living up to what he knew

When Paul was admonishing the Phillipians Church to practice the Word, he also told them to Practice all that they've seen him do.
That's powerful. Meaning Paul showed and exhibited the Truth of the gospel via his actions. He showed them how to live

Look at this Verse and be inspired
Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
Philippians 4:9 NLT.
So my fellow Brethren, Live up to the truth that you know. Let other Christians learn from your conduct and behavior how to live the Christian life!
