Propane Jane: In TX, Greg Abbott signed off for three weeks for early voting instead of our usual two weeks. We did not have the option to vote by mail. So many of our votes are being delivered in person that it may be easier to know where we stand tomorrow night.

Propane Jane: TX has so many electoral votes that if Trump loses TX, he can't make up those votes anywhere else.

Propane Jane: Look at the machines that were changing votes in TX. Other states had broken machines. It's sickening the way they're disenfranchising us in the south.
If our votes don't matter, why are they trying so hard to keep us from voting??

Propane Jane: The demographic change is so important. More people are moving into southern states b/c of cost of living, b/c of weather, but what GOP doesn't realize is that these states are growing beyond the point where they can use gerrymandering to keep control

Propane Jane: The GOP simply doesn't have anything to offer for those who want to move forward on climate change, the gender wage gap, on healthcare. Young voters are not joining the GOP b/c it doesn't meet their needs.

Propane Jane: So much of the racism & xenophobia because of the pandemic has been directed towards Asian-Americans, & I think that's moving some of the votes in suburbs that people aren't paying attn to.

Propane Jane: The fact that they're acting in such extremist, terroristic ways shows they know they're losing & feel they need to show force.

Propane Jane: This reminds me of Klan rallies; this is what the Klan used to do to scare black people. Burning crosses on people's yards in retaliation for black people fighting for their rights. This is what you do when all you have is fear & violence.

Propane Jane: I think in the short term, things will likely get worse. America's on the verge of significant civil unrest like we haven't seen in over 100 years. Some people see the country slipping away from them b/c of the change in demographics.

Propane Jane: Losing will have an impact on these people. They will tantrum if they lose--but they will also tantrum if they win. Law enforcement allows it to happen & actually plays a part in it, like the police in TX siding with the Proud Boys.

Propane Jane: We are going to have to address the police & terrorists but it probably won't happen unless/until something happens.

Propane Jane: I don't think those people can be reasoned with. They don't see policing as problematic & only see the police as being there to protect & serve b/c they haven't had any other experiences with the police.

Propane Jane: I don't know ANY black man who hasn't been profiled by the police. Any at all. It's a white privilege not to have experienced that.

Propane Jane: It's unsustainable to have a Congress that's 80% white, 80% male, & to think they'll make laws that are fair to all of us. That's why it's so important to elect people who look like us, who represent us.

Propane Jane: A lot of these families are falling apart, such as when there's an LGBTQ person who's family is voting against their right to marry whomever they want. The LGBTQ person sees that as not recognizing their rights & their humanity.

Propane Jane: The Civil War split the entire country as well as families, & we haven't fully recovered from that yet.

Propane Jane: Ultimately, the way around so much of this is economic prosperity so we don't have a hunger games where ppl think they need to tear others down to build themselves up.

Propane Jane: We need a gov't that will pass laws to benefit 99% of us or they'll only cater to the 1% and the 99% of us will be fighting for crumbs at the bottom.
