A lot of election posts will be floating tomorrow & in the next few days, w/ some meant to mislead & deter voters. To sidestep the bad actors & bad information, here are somethings to look out for:
Double check posts about long lines at the polls.

Social distancing requirements may mean that people are standing in a long line, but waiting a short amount of time.

Also, it might just be an old photo.
There might not be a winner election night: That’s OK.

“Not having a winner on Nov. 3 is democracy at work,” said Aimee Rinehart, the deputy director of U.S. operations for @firstdraftnews.

“It means your votes are being counted.”
Lastly, if you spot an election meme that’s wrong or frightening, email us. Both @clarajanehen & I will be more than willing to do a little detective work on whatever you find.
