Wow. All my @swingleft phone banking just paid off today. I called a man in Gadsden County, Florida. When I asked if he supported Biden, he wasn't comfortable naming names; he just said: "I'm voting for what's right and true." /1
After a little more conversation, I could hear the smile when he added "I think we're on the same side."
I asked when he was planning to vote, & if he was bringing anyone with him. He said he was waiting for them to get ready right now, and then they were headed off to polls. /2

Florida's polls weren't open today.
So I went on http://IWillVote.com like @swingleft trained me to, and confirmed that was true for his address.
He said, "I checked at the library! I must have been tricked." /3

So I gave him the Voter Protection Hotline number* for Florida, too, so that he could make 100% sure I'd given him the right info - and also to report it, which he said he would! /4
