Want to get a peak into what it's like to travel Europe?

Last year my GF & I went to 6 Cities in 5 Countries, in 10 days

I'll do one post on:

- Reykjavík
- Warsaw
- Krakow
- Budapest
- Prague
- Venice

Quick thread 🥂

[cont...]
1. Reykjavík

- Small condensed city in Iceland, cool rainy and "moody", expensive

- Blue Lagoon is a giant man made geothermal spa, we spent 4 hours there 😎

- Definitely drive out of the city and check out the waterfalls, black beaches & moody landscape

- Eat Fish & Chips
2. Warsaw (short flight from Iceland)

- Less touristy, more under the radar, felt like we were amongst the working locals

- Uber from airport to airbnb $4 Poland is affordable!

- City is spread out, not super walkable

- Warsaw uprising museum/history is a must
3. Krakow (train from Warsaw)

- Extremely walkable, especially compared to Warsaw

- Equally as affordable, we had an 8 course dinner for $100 total

- Must take a day trip out to Auschwitz
4. Budapest (overnight train from Krakow)

- First of all I highly recommend an overnight train, or 2, if you've never done it, truly a special experience

- Gothic architecture is very cool to look at

- Saw Draculas prison here

- pronounced "Boodah-pesh-t"
5. Prague (overnight train from Budapest)

- Again, very fun overnight train

- Prague is touristy, so now we start seeing more expensive tourist prices on airbnb and food

- Every building has a sculpture you want to photo

- Charles Bridge in the AM & a concert are a must
6. Venice (short flight from Prague)

- much smaller than i imagined, you will get lost, it's ok, keep walking

- Doges Palace & Saint Mark's Basilica are the 2 things I suggest

- Apartment situations are interesting, small and old, expensive

- Google "bridge of sighs"
Overall we walked 10-13 miles a day

Slept about 5 hours each night

Ate a ton of pierogi and goulash

Highly recommend

Hope you enjoyed that🥂
