Tomorrow is Election Day.

Take a deep breath.

It’s going to be a big, confusing day, but we’ll be here to help you sift fact from fiction. Snopes will be live fact-checking on Election Day/Night and the days after. Here's what you can expect from us.

A thread:
It’ll be all hands on deck in our newsroom. Our small, dedicated team will be working hard Election Day to monitor misinformation & quash rumors with the research and sources you know us for.

In addition to our high-quality fact checks in our live coverage, we’ll be flagging rumor alerts as they happen. Basically, a warning light to tread carefully as we do more research.
We’re also going to try something else new: Night shifts all this week, to make sure we catch the rumors and disinformation campaigns that often pop up after hours.
We also need YOU. Yes, you! If you see anything suspicious or worth checking, submit it to our tipline ( http://snopes.com/contact?utm_source=thread&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=evethread). Tag us @snopes. Send it our way!
