seen a few folks dunk on this for being Marxist or Communist and feel a need to clarify.

No such claim is made. It states that real equality means offering the disadvantaged access to goods that allow them to participate in society on similar terms as the advantaged. https://twitter.com/KamalaHarris/status/1322963321994289154
This is a basic Rawlsian (liberal) ideal. To think that equality involves social ordering that assists the disadvantaged to participate in society in terms roughly equal to the advantaged shouldn’t even be controversial.
I’m not a Harris supporter. But in the interest of truth it’s important to defend a claim being wrongly misrepresented and maligned.

Disagree with Harris’ argument—that’s fair. Just don’t call it what it isn’t.
some evangelicals like calling things they don’t like ‘marxist’ to excuse themselves from further thinking; ‘Marxist’ means ‘dismissible and not worth thinking about.
In my experience, 99.9% of evangelicals have not read any Marx, and the majority of that .1% have read paragraph one of the Manifesto.
