The truth of the Bible is that it contains passages which can be utilized for both pro-choice and pro-life political arguments. To the extent that even matters, it means that Christian and pro-life isn’t and shouldn’t be synonymous.
The phrase “Because I am a Christian, I am pro-choice,” contains just as much Biblical veracity as the phrase “Because I am a Christian, I am pro-life.”
The biggest political jig in the world is that the Republican Party has a monopoly on what it means to vote according to “Christian principles.”

I don’t think there is a single point in Christianity that all Christians have agreed on at all times. Not hyperbole.
Here is probably the most on point verse in the Bible regarding the status of a fetus. And it’s remarkably pro-choice:
Death of a fetus? Punishment is a fine. Death of the mom? Life for life. The difference in punishment belies a difference in culpability. And this isnt poetic musings, this is law, this is how the government is supposed to decide those cases at that time.
And that isn’t to downplay the verses pro-life folk love to cite which talk about God knowing us in the womb. But to act as though there is a unified Biblical opinion on abortion and the status of fetus is to mischaracterize the text.

Somethings are just ambiguous.
