Btw this wasn't my first rodeo. Three months I was stuck, when I first came to YUL and my accomodation fell through but I decided to stay. I knew I was traumatised, but no one 2/7

believed me or took me seriously. I dealt on my own, mostly, it took ages, and prob wasn't 100% successful.
I was stronger and wiser this time, I got out quickly, used the resources avail for one thing. Many people right now are finding themselves in that position for the 3/7

And the chronically homelessless? Do you judge them for their substance abuse? Half of that is self-medication to deal with the stress of poverty. I watched it every day. Sure say what you want 4/7

about crackheads etc, but at least half the people I saw were just drunks. Or potheads, so much pot, and that's understandable, no?

Me, I'm spending a few days resting, lots of naps, eating, drinking water, trying to deprogram my brain from that constant buzz of low level but ever present stress mixed with mind numbing tedium.
I'm lucky, I got out quick. Not everyone does.
