What are your rights when voting in person?
If the polls close while you’re still in line, stay in line – you have the right to vote.
If you make a mistake on your ballot, ask for a new one.
If the machines are down at your polling place, ask for a paper ballot.

What if I signed up to vote by mail ballot, but now choose to vote at a polling place?
Bring both your mail or absentee ballot, and the outer return envelope, to your polling place. After you hand over the ballot, you can sign a declaration and then vote in-person.

Instead of voting at your local polling place, you will have to vote at one of the city’s 17 satellite election offices.
