Ever since I chased my first storm in 2012, I was hooked. I got a masters degree in meteorology in 2014 and moved to Oklahoma for a job. That job allowed me the freedom to take time off to chase a lot of storms but I still wanted more. I got into day trading 2.5 years ago /1
...when storm chaser friend of mine (Dick, twitter is inactive) introduced me to some trading DVDs he had. I spent the next 6 months buried in educational and then started trading myself. I didn’t have a whole lot of funds so I started to drive Uber on nights and weekends /2
...to make extra money to be able to have a big enough account to start making real money. Had people throw up, urinate, do all kinds of nasty stuff in my car. I had to keep at it to reach my goal. After about 9months of driving Uber I had saved up nice chunk and began trading /3
...more seriously. Today, day trading allowed me to quit my job so I could storm chase full time moving forward and chase all the storms I want without having to ask for permission. It’s been a long journey but today is a big step forward to make all the dreams come true /4
...To anyone that’s currently in my shoes from 2.5 years ago, keep working hard and don’t give up on ur dreams, no matter how silly they may be. If I can do it, so can u. I hope someone reads this and it helps motivate them. Love u all /5(end)
