Journaling

- THREAD -
Phew, where do we start with this one?

Imagine a direct stream of consciousness flowing to a notepad.

Where the constant cycle of thoughts are at ease and the ebbs flow like gold.
Nikola Tesla, Edgar Allan Poe, Leonardo Da Vinci, Albert Einstein, and so many more - all kept a journal.

Surely they knew it’s one of the very few ways to become one with and understand yourself/your thoughts.
Whether it’s remembering that breakthrough, key business ideas, confronting insecurities, or simply giving yourself confidence, journaling will reinforce every single idea you have.

“Why do I feel this way?” Ask/Answer. “Why don’t I do this?” Ask/Answer.
Experts believe we have 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts a day.

I’m going to repeat myself because you’re probably thinking, oh, Brandon is saying some crazy shit just to keep us interested in his thread.

12k - 60k thoughts today.

Do you remember all of them?
Everything about growing your income and business? That pickup line you might use next?

Don’t lie to yourself; obviously you don’t. Nobody does.

Maybe the pickup line though because damn, you really might need that.
Realize that 95% of all those thoughts you have today are repetitive from yesterday.

What?

95% of the time you’re processing the same exact things you did yesterday, and the day before that, and so on.

How could you possibly remember a new stream of consciousness?
Maybe you even forget this thread :O

So, we ask ourselves, “ How does one begin to remember the good and fully rewrite that 95%?”

That’s personal to everyone and should be explored alone @naval

However, journaling will unquestionably help.

Anything. It doesn’t matter. Whatever comes from your mind to the paper is worth it and to be understood.
Men who keep a journal have a better understanding of their own life, become wiser, and remove the mind from it’s constant cycle of clutter.

And brother, never lie to yourself. This is your future. Be honest with your inner truth and feel the benefits of inner peace.
