Incoming Thread: On the day before Election Day, I thought I would highlight some of the politics coverage we've done at @kuarpublicradio
Firstly, @DBreenOfficial and I (but mostly Daniel) interviewed each and every Little Rock School Board candidate as they run to be on the first board in over five years. You can find all of the interviews here: https://www.ualrpublicradio.org/post/guide-2020-little-rock-school-board-race
Want to learn more about the candidates running for North Little Rock Mayor? We have interviews with them too.

The KUAR news team also covered all of the U.S. Congressional debates conducted by @ArkansasPBS.

This year, a much higher percentage of Arkansans have submitted absentee ballot requests. KUAR spoke with county clerks across the state on how they're handling both the increase in absentee ballot requests and in-person voting in the middle of a pandemic. https://www.ualrpublicradio.org/post/arkansas-county-clerks-see-uptick-absentee-ballot-requests-feel-prepared-2020-election
Still need to drop off your absentee ballot in the Little Rock area? You can drop it off at the county courthouse through a drop-off ballot site the city established in coordination with the County Clerk's office. https://www.ualrpublicradio.org/post/drive-through-ballot-dropoff-announced-central-arkansas-voters
Finally, in the middle of a pandemic, campaigns are changing how they reach out to voters. KUAR looked at how COVID-19 has impacted voter outreach tactics in the race for Arkansas' 2nd Congressional District. https://www.ualrpublicradio.org/post/campaigns-shift-more-pandemic-friendly-voter-outreach-efforts-election
All of this work doesn't even include our continued coverage on the COVID-19 pandemic, nor the countless other stories we've covered these past few weeks. For a small staff, I'm SO immensely proud of all of the work we've done.
