As I said might happen, cases are now falling quite sharply. If that continues until Wednesday (as it might), Boris is going to face a lot of questions.
I really wonder whether Boris might not have postponed Lockdown2 if he hadn't been bounced into it at the weekend, given the strong evidence in the data that has emerged over the weekend & today that aggregate cases are now falling.
It looks plausible to me that the govt may implement a lockdown on Thursday & on Friday publish its weekly view, confirming that it believes R fell below 1 before lockdown.
