i keep forgetting that like ,, laikas most popular movies are first coraline, then paranorman, with the missing link getting a lot of attention recently. like the box trolls and kubo rly fly under the radar. bro on jah kubo might be my favorite of Any animated film i just

see now this isnât to say that the other three arenât good,, coraline is of course phenomenal and a really lovely interpretation of the book,,, paranorman is also so wonderful i heart eyes,,, donât crucify me for this but i havenât yet watched the missing link iâm so sorry
that being said i have absolutely no doubt in my heart that that movie slaps. i just really love kubo and itâs so strange to me that a lot of ppl havenât seen it or just donât care for it much
Another thing i love abt laika!!! the movies arent just kids movies,,, theyâre not adult movies as in inappropriate for children, itâs more so that their main focus is on creating a beautiful story with genuine conflict and development and progress and itâs all so artful
i may not be an anime person, but i rly do appreciate how eastern cultures (japan especially) have such a great appreciation for animation and they acknowledge that with animation, so much can be done, y limit it to childrenâs shows? i think laika does the same
