the box trolls is actually a pretty neat movie,, i haven’t watched it much but i do enjoy most everything abt it, except for the rly ugly antagonists

see now this isn’t to say that the other three aren’t good,, coraline is of course phenomenal and a really lovely interpretation of the book,,, paranorman is also so wonderful i heart eyes,,, don’t crucify me for this but i haven’t yet watched the missing link i’m so sorry

that being said i have absolutely no doubt in my heart that that movie slaps. i just really love kubo and it’s so strange to me that a lot of ppl haven’t seen it or just don’t care for it much

Another thing i love abt laika!!! the movies arent just kids movies,,, they’re not adult movies as in inappropriate for children, it’s more so that their main focus is on creating a beautiful story with genuine conflict and development and progress and it’s all so artful

i may not be an anime person, but i rly do appreciate how eastern cultures (japan especially) have such a great appreciation for animation and they acknowledge that with animation, so much can be done, y limit it to children’s shows? i think laika does the same
