Hopefully, you've been reading and teaching Native books all year long, and...

... you've been telling people that we are still here and that using past tense verbs when speaking/writing about us, is wrong.

I use social media all year long, to share good bks, to tell you what's wrong with classics like The Outsiders, to talk about fraudulent claims to Native identity, and appropriation... to try to help ppl understand who we are as tribal members or citizens of sovereign nations.
