After loosing out lots of players in the beginning, they made a great comeback in the market. Earlier they were tagged as "bankrupt" and now they are a title contender. Thanks to Karolis who did some great negotiations and made great moves!

The team is a great mixture of youth and experience. From youngsters like Sahal, Rahul, Jeakson, Nishu to experienced campaigners like Gary, Costa and Kone. Having Kibu on the board is even more boosting for the team. He had a commanding trophy win with Mohun Bagan last season.
Coming to the squad: They have 
new GKs on board in the form of Prabhsukhan Gill and Albino Gomes. With the likes of Bilal Khan and Muheet already thier, it's going to be exciting who wins the coach's trust.

Def: They lost Sandesh and Tiri but they got Costa and Kone! They lost Rakip but they got Nishu! Jessel was the best LB last season and he has been handed a new contract! Likes of Abdul Hakku and Sandeep Singh is thier! One of the best defence in the league they have built!
Mid: From Sahal, Jeakson, Puitea to Facundo, Cido and Gomez! They are formidable in the midfield too! They have variety of options in the middle. It all depends on the formations which Kibu is going to use throughout the tournament.
Att: Gary Hooper is the biggest recruit by this team in the attack. He was injured last time but fans believe he will make a great comeback. Jordan Murray is the second striker whom they have bought in to replace the outgoing Messi Bouli. They have got the best wings ;-)
Among the other optionsthey have Rahul KP, Prasanth KP, Nongdomba Naorem, Seityasen and Ritwik Das as the main names in the attack. All are youngsters and all are wingers who can play at both the wings,apart from Ritwik and Seityasen who have majorly played a wide Midfielder role
So options are plenty with Kibu Vicuna, all comes down to the tactics which he will implement throughout the season. He is a typical Spanish coach who likes to keep rotating the ball on the pitch. However he don't have any specific preferred formation which he has been using
throughout his career. At Mohun Bagan he majorly used 433 but many a times he used to change it to 4141 or any other formation. His formations are said to be highly dependent on the young guns in his team (which are in abundance at KBFC)
Strenght: Naorem will be major boost for Kibu! He was with him at Mohun Bagan and he was incredible. He was out on loan and he returned back after the spell. KBFC have the hottest young prospects in Indian football! Sahal, Rahul, Naorem, Nishu and many more...
They have one the best defence in the league. They are strength to strength at Midfield and Attack too! They have lots of individual brilliances with them.
Weakness: Lack of experience between the sticks is the reason where this team may lag behind. Last season too they were horrible at the Goal. TP Rehenesh had a season to forget. While Bilal Khan too wasn't upto the mark as expected. They are cutout everywhere except this position
Overall this is a brilliant team built by Kibu and especially the way this management has worked is amazing. When they lost out Tiri, Jhinghan, Ogbeche, Glez and Beitia everyone was pointing thier fingers towards the chair. But Karolis did excellent! Even if the team fails to win
we should appreciate the SD for his incredible recruits which no one expected :D If someone says he have got better players than the lost ones, then he is absolutely correct! On paper, especially the Foreign players, are "spectacular" considering the ISL.
Preferred 11: 4141 would be the most featured formation which will be used by Kibu.. Either of those 4 options will start under the bar. Nishu, Costa, Kone, Jessel at the back 4. Gomez as the DM, Sahal-Facundo as AMs, Rahul and Naorem at respective wings while Gary will start!
That will be the best lineup which Kibu can field considering all the tactical factors and aspects of him. What's your take on @KeralaBlasters this season?
