If you ever wanted any more evidence that politicians who don't want to act on climate change are failing us, it all arrived this week.

If you're not acting on climate change, then you really are really really really bad at managing the economy.
Inaction = lots of lost jobs and lost money
Action = more money more jobs.
That's my paraphrase of Deloitte's report today https://www2.deloitte.com/au/en/pages/economics/articles/new-choice-climate-growth.html

If you're not acting on climate change then you're harming everyone's health. So say lots of doctors in an open letter. In The Australian, so politicians might even read it!

Covid has shown people like politicians who protect our health!

In fact, politicians - whose job, you could argue, is to represent the people who vote for them - could represent the people who vote for them by acting on climate change.

Because people understand climate change.

The people whose actual job is to manage financial risk know that we need to act on climate change. ANZ know this. David Littleproud can rant all he wants, but he's not paid bonuses for his performance, and doesn't it show! https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-10-29/anz-climate-policy-steps-away-from-coal-toward-carbon-neutrality/12825934
And if financial companies don't manage their financial risk, they will get sued into doing it https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2020/nov/02/australian-super-fund-agrees-to-factor-climate-crisis-into-decisions-in-groundbreaking-case
It's very easy to tell whether climate sceptics believe what they. If they did they would set up insurance companies that wouldn't take climate risk into account, and undercut all those that did and make a packet.
They don't do this because they *know* they are lying to you.

Tell all your friends. Not acting on climate should be electoral suicide.
The end.
We have an American election to worry about.
