Today I've taken a look at @SpiderDAO, a fair and resilient hardware-based DAO governance model that aims to bring a new standard of fairness to existing DAO frameworks. $SPDR #DeFi

First, what's a DAO? -> an organization represented by rules encoded as a computer program that is transparent, controlled by the organization members and not influenced by a central government. A DAO's financial transaction record and program rules are maintained on a blockchain
Current DAO frameworks have several shortcomings:
1. Plutocracies
2. The Rise of Dark DAOs
3. Exploitable Governance
Key here is obviously the vote controlling; "He who controls the votes, controls the DAO and hence directs the future of the project". Whalevoting is a major issue for about any #DeFi project out there, especially since the marketcaps and liquidity are low. Doesn't take much...
SpiderDAO looks to solve this issue by introducing a dual-governance model that bundles hardware & software tools with on-chain elements, providing a ‘whale resistant’ governance solution.
SpiderDAO is underpinned by a decentralised consensus mechanism and will utilise a network of hardware routers deployed by DAO participants as a “ticket” for election voting. They are
Token Utility $SPDR:
1. Eligibility for DAO Voting Rights; One Router = One Vote, Tamper-resistant model
2. Liquidity as Utility Model; Access to SPDR Utility via Select LP Tokens: Liquidity = Utility
3. Free VPN for Liquidity Providers
SpiderDAO will have a fundraiser soon. Each participant contributing $2k+ will receive a complementary router. The Spider Virtual Private Network will be the veins of the operation interlinking all of the relevant components and ensuring that all the community is safe and secure.
