If you’re getting next-gen consoles this month and you’re in a position to do this, I HIGHLY recommend reaching out to a local hospital to donate your old hardware. In my experience they’re VERY appreciative, since they usually have pretty outdated machines, if any at all

Also, I know this is a leap, but if you have a VR unit you don’t use, I would HIGHLY encourage donating it to a hospital before trading it - VR can be great for hospitalized children for a huge number of reasons, but especially for kids who have autism or Aspergers!
Note: if you are interested in doing this, please make sure you contact the hospital via email/phone before showing up to donate anything! Some may not be able to accept them, or you could be complicating their COVID precautions by just showing up
