what if I told you that Boba is not an antagonist to Din Djarin but an antagonist to the Mandalorian creed in general
he will remind Din that finding his own path is far more important than finding Mandalorians.

he will set his ass straight
Boba represents a failed legacy. Din is unknowingly trying to create a legacy with the Child.

Boba was a greedy, vengeful bounty hunter. Din got his bounties from guilds as a part of his creed.

Boba has traveled in and out of the belly of the beast. So has Din.
Think of Boba like Luke on the island.

He's lost his way. He knows he became disillusioned with his revenge. He wants to live out his life in solitude so he doesn't cause any more pain or so he simply doesn't have to deal with the consequences of being involved.
