1) In 2016, Chris Mellon said:

"I highly doubt DoD or any other government agency is concealing UFO information. I participated in a comprehensive review of DoD’s black programs and spent over a decade conducting oversight of the national foreign intelligence program, https://twitter.com/BryanDBender/status/1323004967133745152
2) "an almost totally separate world of secrets. I visited Area 51 and other military, intelligence and research facilities. During all those years, I never detected the faintest hint of government interest or involvement in UFOs."

(Mellon was either unable to acknowledge AATIP
3) @ the time of that interview or hadn't stumbled upon it, yet. But that statement was not accurate ~Joe)

@lesliekean: "Are u certain there is no government cover-up?"

Mellon: "It’s impossible to prove the negative, so all I can say is that I never saw any evidence of official
4) "interest in UFOs. I’d love to believe we have a crashed saucer somewhere, but I’ve never seen anything remotely supportive of such incredible claims. In my experience, on those rare occasions when UFO incidents involving the government occur, they are highly inconvenient,
5) "awkward and embarrassing for the afflicted government officials who want nothing more than to put the issue behind them as quickly as possible!"

Kean: "Some inside sources have proposed that retrieved hardware from a UFO may exist within a private aerospace company which has
6) "become independent from the DoD. In this way, it would be exempt from government oversight and known only to a few people. Do you think this is possible?"

Mellon: "I find it hard to imagine something as explosive as recovered alien technology remaining under wraps for
7) "decades. So while I have no reason to believe there is any recovered alien technology, I will say this: If it were me, and I were trying to bury it deep, I’d take it outside government oversight entirely and place it in a compartment as a new entity within an existing defense
8) "company & manage it as what we call an 'IRAD' or 'Independent Research and Development Activity.'

Kean: "So where does this all leave us, and what is to be done?"

Mellon: "In my view, calling for the end to an alleged government UFO cover-up is almost certainly
9) "a dead end, & does not help inspire anyone in government to become more open to the topic."

Obviously, Mr. Mellon's views on these subjects have changed since this interview was conducted. U can hear it in various interviews he has given (to Knapp and CNN). #ufo #ufos #uap
11) At some point, I think Mr. Mellon may heard from my source regarding how the UAP crash retrieval program was hidden and buried. That source shared this with me for my Mega-Blog.
12) A few weeks ago, Chris Mellon had this to say:

Host: "I'm sure you don't have empirical evidence - unless you do - but, Chris...in your gut, do you think that our government either has or has had recovered crafts? Do you think that physically we have space crafts that have
13) "been recovered and crashed?"

Mellon: "Umm, this is a daunting question and I tell people I think it's a good question for Congress to ask and a good question to pursue. There's been enough smoke around that, enough indication, commentary to...I think this question should
14) "definitely be taken seriously. I also recognize that nobody is going to believe me or if I were to say, "Yes," I don't think people would believe me anyway. So I just put this in the category of things that Congress should continue to pursue in their oversight capacity."
15) @PhenomenonMovie director, @jamescfox: "I'd like to say one thing to that, if I may. Lue Elizondo, who was head of the program, AATIP (Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program), that was on the front page of the New York Times, he tweeted last night...'Everything in
16) "'this film is accurate. There are things this film says that I was not able to say. This film is accurate.' This film talks about the Roswell incident so I'm assuming Elizondo might be implying about that."

Host: "Who is it, position-wise, that has control over what happens
17) "with this information?"

Mellon: "If you're referring to what Bob Lazar described or some kind of crash debris, That still remains very controversial. And I can tell you, if that material does exist, it's in a program that is separate and apart as the Manhattan Project once
18) "was, from everything else. We have this Special Access Program Oversight Committee (SAPOC) at the Defense Department, and I served on that. And if there is a program of that kind, it's not covered by that committee. It's something completely off the books. Perhaps, in
19) "private sector, aerospace companies or some special carve out or cut out that's outside any of the normal oversight processes."

20 Joe here...

If Mellon believes we have non-human craft hidden in a USAP, I certainly would like to know that. Obviously, we need the physical evidence to prove it but Mellon using the B word with regard to a crash retrieval program would be HUGE because of his credibility.
21 BTW, Mellon just basically described what is described by Wilson in the Wilson/Davis docs and what I wrote about in my Mega-Blog. And what @RichDolan, @GrantCameron, @OmniTalkRadio and @TheProjectUnity have been focused on over the past year.
22) In a recent episode of the #TTSA Talks podcast. Luis Elizondo explained how Christopher Mellon made his way into #AATIP.

Luis Elizondo: "I remember being at the Pentagon and someone saying, 'Hey, a former very senior level DoD official is here to talk to you.' And I remember
23) "you (Mellon) coming in and saying, 'Hey listen. I would really would like to know (laughs) about this particular portfolio you guys are doing here called AATIP.' And first of all, I was astonished that you even knew that we were a part of this effort. We weren't prepared to
24) "tell you anything. And, of course, I remember, very quickly, looking over my shoulder, kind of laughing at one of my guys there that's with me. And I looked at you and I said, 'Okay, well if you want a briefing, that's fine, but you're gonna need these tickets.' And it was a
25) "long laundry list: A, B, C, D, E, F, G and so forth. And I remember you were diligently writing notes and you said, 'Okay, no sweat.' And I know from the inside, it takes over a year, sometimes, to even get nominated for some of these tickets. So as you left, I kind a looked
26) "back and snickered to my colleagues and said, 'We'll never see him again, right? That problem is solved. We don't have to worry about that!' And I'll be damned if the very next week you came back to my office and they said, 'Hey, he's out here again.' And I said, 'Well, what
27) "'does he want? We can't let him in unless he's even got the tickets.' And I remember one of my guys saying, 'Mr. Elizondo, he's got the tickets.' And I could not believe that within a week's time, you had somehow managed...and I verified and validated it. You did it!
29) Mellon's views have changed over time as he was exposed to more data. People need to realize how important he is to this effort & that he's on our side. At least that's how I see it. Imagine how he felt when he realized he didn't have oversight on such an important program?
30) Lue addressed it on his Twitter:

"...Imagine being the guy who has 'all the secrets' only to find out later that you really don't? And neither does your boss! What do you do in that case? Well, most bureaucrats simply move one. Well...not Chris [Mellon]! he took his oath to
31) "the American people seriously and decided to pursue the truth doggedly. Until, at some point much later one, he found the office he as looking for. Imagine the frustration and anger he must have felt after realizing there was, indeed, a #UFO office in the Pentagon?
32) "Now consider the fact that [ @ChristopherKMe4] had the job of 'knowing all the secrets,' but this is one secret he wouldn't be allowed to know. Is this illegal? Is this unethical? Is this rogue? All appropriate questions, indeed. But, nevertheless, rather than 'burn down the
33) "barn,' he decided to take the high road and use the USG bureaucracy against itself. In my opinion, this is the trait of a true strategic master, and artist, an intellectual. So with no guarantees or promises, Chris decides to risk his entire family's future to bring the
34) "truth to the American people and the world. I tell you what, if that man ever ran for office now, you bet your a$$ I would vote for him! Chris is exactly what I hope to be one day! No exaggeration." ~Lue Elizondo, October 4th, 2020, via his Twitter #ufo #uap #aliens #ttsa
35) From a C2C interview with Mellon from earlier this year:

Mellon: "There are a lot of rumors, of course, about the U.S. government and what they may have. In that regard, there's nothing I can say about that that anyone would believe or take seriously, regarding what the
36) "answer I provided (laughs)."

Knapp: "I'll believe ya."

Mellon: "(laughs) Well thank you for the invitation to destroy my meager reputation."

Knapp: (Laughs)
37) Mellon: "But, you know, eventually we, you know, hopefully there's a process beginning now to take hold that will bring information forward and lead to answers around all of these questions."
38) Jeffrey @NewThinkAllowed Mishlove interviewed Leslie Kean earlier this year:

Mishlove: "If you were to take the trajectory from what you've witnessed since your book came out 10 years ago, to where we are today, and project it forward another twenty,
39) "thirty years, what would you envision?"

@lesliekean: "Oh, boy, that's an interesting question, Jeff. I would like to envision the secret access programs, that apparently possess physical objects, to be opened up to the public. It's understandable to me that they may want to
40) "keep certain technological discoveries classified, to keep them secure from other countries possessing them. But, I think the fact that these objects exist, and they have been retrieved, and that we have them, is something that the world has a right to know. I mean,
41) "if one of these objects could be exposed to the world, that would be absolute proof of the reality of UFOs. So, I think, u know, maybe something like that will happen where something really definitive will come out.
42) "We still don't have something. We're not there yet with something that definitive." ~Leslie Kean

Looks like Leslie has some pretty good sources! ;-)
