If you're worried about the current discourse around antisemitism, i.e. Corbyn/Labour, and it's implications on Palestinian solidarity, there are a few things to take into consideration. Thread.
Corbyn's support for terrorists, their organizations, and brutal dictators who kill Palestinians (Assad), has already tainted this faux solidarity by equating Palestinians to terrorists. You should have rejected him as a voice right then and there.
The rife and unadulterated antisemitism that included Holocaust praise and denial has no room in Palestinian solidarity movements. Being pro Palestinian should never be understood to be Jew hatred.
The continuous gaslighting of British Jews, telling them the only reason they reject Corbyn is because they themselves don't see Palestinians as humans deserving of rights is textbook antisemitism as well as an ugly exclusionary way to build a movement.
Drop the antizionism bullshit. A much wider, inclusive, and humanitarian approach to Palestinian solidarity is a movement that acknowledges both Israelis and Palestinians right to exist in sovereignty and dignity.
Most importantly, acknowledge that you took over a cause as white western saviors, not only speaking over a tiny minority of Jews in the UK, but also Palestinians around the world. Take the time to listen, acknowledge the pain and hurt, and make a commitment to move forward.
