Hey friends! I hope you are doing well in this stressful time, and I wanna talk about the election, and what I think is at stake.
What seems clear to me is this: Biden's poll numbers are the bare minimum we need to actually have even close to a shot. The GOP has never been more bald-faced in its disregard for democracy, its contempt for voters, and its desire to get this thing close enough to steal.
What I'm saying is: A huge lead is a *requirement* for us to actually pull this off. Anything short of a landslide is a risk we can't afford. The *incredible news* is this: We can use these last three days to make it an undeniable landslide.
The real thing that is gonna make this election uncontestable is phone-banking. If you've never phone-banked before, I'm here to tell you: It is the funnest, easiest thing in the world, and at this point it's the thing that will move the needle the most.
I'm gonna put a bunch of links in this thread. You sign up for a shift (it takes literally 45 seconds to sign up), you get an email, you log on to a Zoom call at the beginning of your shift, you get 20 minutes of training, then you use a dialer to make calls. Easy!
Can't stress this enough: We are in ballot chasing mode. You're not persuading voters, 95% of what you're doing on these calls is helping people look up their polling place and helping them make a voting plan. It's truly SO easy, and makes a HUGE difference. Links below!
