Years ago @FryRsquared sent me a copy of her book with @Mathistopheles The Indisputable Existence of Santa Claus. I remembered a Markov chains bit & showed it to @pogonomaths who was choosing a 2nd year programming project topic. (He programmed a neural network instead.) 2/3
The following year, @pogonomaths took my Game Theory and Recreational Mathematics module and wrote a good submission for my coursework where I ask for a puzzle covered in a @chalkdustmag-style article. I’m really pleased to see him now published in the real thing! 3/3
