I’m angry. I just came from my local grocers, where I found boards on the windows. It wasn’t because of earthquake or accident. They put them up because they’re scared of election-night riots if Trump wins.
This. Should. Not. Be. Not in America, damn it. #thread

They’re worried #BLM radicals and #ANTIFA and the fools who tag along will decide to “fight Fascism” by burning buildings, breaking windows, stealing stuff, and terrorizing neighborhoods.
Because nothing says “social justice” like ripping off TVs or snagging some free steaks.
Because nothing says “social justice” like ripping off TVs or snagging some free steaks.
But #BLM and #ANTIFA will riot no matter what, because these “trained Marxists” and anarchists will do it to show Joe who’s boss, if he wins. These junior-league brownshirts reject the entire system and want to tear it down – including Joe.
You know who I blame just as much? Who pisses me off just as much?
Their enablers. Cynical hacks like Pelosi and Schumer and the handlers behind Biden, who think they can ride the tiger of civil disorder to power, that they can ape the hard Left’s rhetoric about Trump and police with no consequences to themselves – the rest of us be damned.
Gutless, wonders like the mayors of Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, Minneapolis, and Portland. The governors of Pennsylvania, Washington, Minnesota, and California. So many cities and states, all governed by incompetent technocratic hacks.
These assclowns have not just failed in their duties to protect life and property, they’ve abandoned them. They’re more worried about about support for their reelection bid or moving up the Party ladder to that next sweet office. The people? Screw’em.
They’ll let businesses burn, livelihoods be ruined, and throw their police under the bus, all because their only principle is taking and holding power. Not the rule of law, not ordered liberty, not constitutionalism. They claim to be for The People, but it’s people who suffer.
I’m sick of it, I’m angry, and they all can go to Hell. If the choice is between a flawed guy who can be a royal jerk on the one hand and a party that winks and nods at burning buildings on the other, I’ll take the jerk.
And I did.
And I did.
No one should have to board up their windows in fear. Not in America. #end
(Had to get that off my chest.)
