Today I learned you can trick Audacity into opening images and then apply audio filters to them.

This picture has tremolo.
I ran this one through the equalizer and reduced the lower-frequencies
i inverted the audio of this one
The Wah Wah effect looks really neat!
Applied to a higher resolution photo
well, what do you know. Echo effect looks like .. echoes
Invert of this one inverts the colors -- partially, and like posterizes them, which is interesting
Phaser effect looks like this. I like it.

And now I need to make dinner
Experimenting more before work starts. I'm trying simple shapes and blocks of color to get a better idea of how the audio filters look. This is echo, and it's exactly what you would expect, besides the mysterious patch of yellow at the top and the noise throughout
This is through the equalizer cutting off high-end and low-end and a notch filter just because
Delay!
high-pass, cutting off everything below 1000Hz
