The thing about witch-hunts is that they were necessarily fake. No woman was ever really a witch.

Antisemitism is not like that though. Sometimes, there is, actually antisemitism.

So opposing antisemitism is not like hunting innocent women and putting them to death...
...The thing about lynching is that racist white mobs chased and murdered black men on fake pretexts.

Jews defending themselves against racism isn't analogous to racist mobs murdering black men.

The antisemitism is like the racism; opposing antisemitism is not like the racism.
...The thing about the crucifixion is that a saintly figure was killed unjustly by the Roman state. Often, Jews are blamed because they didn't embrace Jesus.

Taking action against antisemitism is not like the crucifixion.

And it's not like the be-heading of John the Baptist...
... The thing about Judas, is that he betrayed Jesus - he betrayed God - for money.

Often Judas was portrayed as Jewish to nurture anger with Jews for rejecting Jesus.

But opposing antisemitism is not like betraying God, and neither is there any money in it...
...The thing about shylock is he was forced into moneylending, forced into the ghetto; antisemites robbed him and ran off with his daughter; spat on, humiliated and bullied for being Jewish. He was driven crazy and wanted his pound of flesh, his revenge...
...The Christian antisemites demanded he relate to them with Christian forgiveness but they did not repent. Then they defeated him, demolished him, forced him to convert to Christianity.

It is not appropriate to say Jews 'want their pound of flesh' when they oppose antisemitism.
