A short thread for my American friends.

I usually try and avoid posting about politics on this platform, for obvious reasons. And I'm a UK citizen, not an American, I KNOW. So will likely rue posting this, but feels like I need to say my piece. So... deep breath...
America, we love you. Really. One of my favourite places in the world, full of friends and wonderful people. The last four years have been... pretty tough. Watching your friends in a difficult place is never fun.
On Tuesday there's a moment where that can change. I don't know enough about Biden to comment really, and can't say he sets my heart racing, but there's a clear choice here; four more years of the conman is unsustainable.
More than anything else, this reminds me of an intervention. When someone's wrapped up in something that's bad for them, it can be really hard to make them see that your desire for them to change is for their own benefit, but ultimately it comes from a place of love.
So may I politely and lovingly say: vote, make the change, make America a place people like me can fall in love with again. Make me not have to play songs like "Sand In The Gears" again. And remember to leave space for forgiveness; it's the only way forward.
That's me. I'll shut up now. Peace.
