In the election of 1980, Boomers were 53% of the electorate. (Remember, lifespans used to be shorter, not that long ago.) There is no way Reagan could have been elected without a large fraction of those 18-34. Those born 1946-1961.
And choosing not to vote is also choosing.

Boomers were the driving force behind most of the financial & legal changes that enabled corporate control & broke the social & civil rights safety net established by FDR, LBJ & the Warren Court.

And hey, I’m glad a lot of the fertile people in 1964-1979 didn’t have children they didn’t want. That meant less abuse & neglect.
