Agree that this thread is how it SHOULD work in a normal year. But you can’t pretend like the leader of your party hasn’t already announced out loud that part of his strategy this yr is to short circuit that process. Even if responsible county clerks and other local officials (like yourself, @SpencerJCox) are insistent on counting every vote, he has TOLD us that is going to seek help from judges to ensure that those votes don’t count. And his campaign has literally been doing just that.
We all know how it is SUPPOSED to work, @SpencerJCox. And we appreciate that you are 1 of the responsible ones who wants every vote counted.

I respect you, @SpencerJCox. More than that, I *like* you. But you’re gaslighting us here on a very serious issue. Pretending it’s garbage when you’re smart enough to know it’s not is, frankly, insulting. Just tell us you’ll do all you can to preserve our sacred right to be heard
