I transitioned to online SW at the start of the UK lockdown six months ago. I had six years of experience in this industry and it has still been a HUGE learning curve for me (and it still is!)
I got to where I am by actively watching, reading and listening to experienced SWers

There are so many experienced SWers who are amazing examples of high quality work! Or who post free advice or are damn honest about the job everyday on their socials: @Raquel_Savage @itshoneyli @teeniebash7 @XXXJAMIEROSE @elisekennedyuk @jediqueenie @ShesSquirting @savannah_solo
Who inspires you? Watch how they market - how often they tweet etc, their nudity levels, their promo to personality ratio. What does their product look like? How do u recreate that quality? Upgrade your tech, experiment with lighting and positions. Learn from everything!
Give back to the community what you take! Catch up properly in your engagement groups, like & comment on people’s post you actually enjoy just because! Sub to your inspirations. Sign petitions to benefit SWer rights. Tip. Donate.
Know that the legislation of a country is the most important factor in ALL of our safety and prosperity. Vote for parties who won’t criminalise us. Write to your MP/MSP demanding full decrim. Support charities like @UmbrellaLane @SWARM who do so much of this heavy lifting (UK)
Follow SWers who are also activists! Surround yourself with accounts who are honest about the obstacles/downsides/dangers of the industry. Learn how to make yourself and your community safer.

If you’re Scottish, watch the SNP. In the past three years they’ve attacked online sites (AW/Vivastreet), had a consultation on greater powers over stripclubs and there’s a consultation to criminalise FSSS RIGHT NOW! @elisekennedyuk has a fantastic thread on it with a template!
& finally, tackle your whorephobia. Whether you are new to this or an old hand, this is a big problem in our community and it makes us ALL so vulnerable.
