1. Okay, so I've dealt with rich people my whole dang life. At age nine, I worked in luxury hotels selling beaded jewelry while my mom demonstrated her Navajo weaving. People would eat from a buffet and watch us. https://twitter.com/saletan/status/1322912856153739266
2. I've waited tables at pricey steakhouses where the add on sauces were named after local car dealers and other Tucson elite. And the thing about them, about people like Trump is they hate following the rules. And they hate when poor people know their own worth.
3. They want to haggle, and are shocked when you stay firm on the price of a beaded keychain, you made with your own hands. And they say this with absolutely no irony or self awareness. They think you should have less and think you should agree.
4. These folks feel like anything below privilege is cheating. Because the only way they can function. They're fish that can only breath in a sea of things going their way.
5. But we have the power. If we vote and vote and vote. And I know it sucks because we're tired, and they make is so God damn hard. But listen to me: stay firm on your price. Know your worth. Vote. Demand that every one of our votes be counted. Let them feel what fair is.
