I spent time at a Covid-19 testing site this weekend.
I'm alarmed by the rising infections.
People shared stories about the difficulty of getting tested.
One woman has been trying to get tested for over a week. Her appointments at urgent care centers & local chain pharmacies were cancelled FIVE times.
A man had to travel 40 minutes by car across the city get to the testing site. There were no appointments available anywhere near his home.
Another person told me he had an appointment at a Rite Aid on Thursday for testing. But when he showed up, the store was boarded and closed because of the looting in Philly this week.
Some people with limited funds are resorting to pay out-of-pocket for expensive rapid Covid-19 tests.
Many American are confused about where to get tested and what type of test to get. And there is huge variation on the price of Covid tests.
