In 2018 I published a book about mindfulness at work, where I taught people how to take control of their own experience without regard for what others said or thought.

And these monkeys (always with burner accounts) seem to think I just discovered these ideas in the last week. https://twitter.com/cousins_reg/status/1322777423126167560
You know what I feel like a lot of the time? Those police officers who just stand there while surrounded by screaming SJWs trying to force their insane world view on them

That’s how I feel, like there are screaming children all around me demanding I see the world the way they do
When people are angry, their greatest desire is to create more anger. It’s a great way to stay in the prison they’ve created for themselves, by surrounding themselves with others who are in the same place.

It validates their anger when they believe they are not alone.
But you know what really pisses off an angry person?

When they run into people who refuse to join them in that anger.

For real, why do you think these people hate Trump supporters so much? Because they see them reveling joyfully in those rallies rather than being angry.
Now make no mistake: there are definitely times I get angry. Or frustrated. Or annoyed. I’m a human being. I’m not perfect.

But I’m really grateful that I’ve had so many wonderful teachers who’ve taught me how to channel that anger into something positive.
There is a difference between FEELING angry and BEING angry.

FEELINGS are temporary, and pretty easily changeable.

BEING angry is when that anger is internalized as a part of who you are.

FEELING angry is a normal human emotion.

BEING angry will literally make you sick.
Just understand you never have an obligation to give into anyone who is trying to convince you to be angry, whether than person is a stranger on the internet or a friend or loved one.

YOU are the one who creates your experience.

And those angry kids are creating theirs too.
