Talking about #China on Twitter at the moment you have to deal with all these entrenched positions, with people lacking nuance and empathy then, probably worse, there are all the loud-mouthed I’ll-informed dudes screaming about a place they’ve never been to.

Re Chinese people on Twitter, sensible voices are being drowned out by nationalist zealots loosing their minds at anything painting #China in even a slightly negative light or anti-Communist Party zealots ranting, exaggerating & not prepared to hear a good thing about the country

Forgot to mention the government officials who’s Party is blocking Twitter in #China because they don’t trust their own people with uncensored information and yet - in hypocrisy to the power of 10 - they’re all over Twitter posting propaganda and spreading conspiracies.

#China Twitter is truly toxic.
