When a friend messaged to say there had been a house explosion in Seven Sisters, I thought it must’ve been a mistake.

Until the pictures started coming in.

When I got there, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. In the row of terraced houses was just a gap, a pile of rubble.

It was devastation. You could see the horror on peoples faces on realising that a young mam and her two children were trapped among the wreckage.

Miraculously, the three survived.
