I am utterly sick of folk telling me it’s ludicrous, stupid and wrong that I truly believe the current leadership of the SNP and @NicolaSturgeon no longer want independence! Would they really be causing all these problems for membership voting, candidates who support women’s
rights and independence over all the other garbage like GRA reforms, self ID, hate crime bill if they did? Surely they would want strong candidates FOR INDEPENDENCE, their raison d'être after all, above everything else? Every day there is yet more evidence of foul play from
within the party! The biology deniers, those who believe a man can be a real woman, bitching openly about other candidates or bitching about those supporting them! This is more like a bloody nursery playground than a political party! This is not what was handed over in September
2014! They were handed a robust party, yes bruised but behind that party was an army of folk who still genuinely believed in an Independent Scotland and who actively joined a political party for the first time in their lives, so strong was that passion! The party leadership have
taken that passion and betrayed it! Instead fighting their own little squabbles in an attempt to hold on to power! I was once incredibly proud of the SNP! Now I am incredibly disgusted! No longer a member and not even sure if I could even vote for them again!!
They have betrayed Alex Salmond, the electorate but worst of all, they’ve betrayed Scotland! I just hope they can live with their consciences!!
