Today is #DisabilityPayGap day.

That’s the day disabled workers stop getting paid for the rest of the year.
That means disabled workers work 60 days a year for free.
TUC research found disabled workers were paid on average £2.10 less an hour then their non disabled peers.
That means each year, based on a 35 hkur work week, disabled workers earn £3,800 less than their non disabled peers.
Do you know what you could get for £3,800?

It would by an average family one year and two months of food.
This is why we need mandatory disability pay gap reporting.

It’s time for change.
