Some mysteries remain unsolved for eternity...

The legendary Bheem Kund is a natural water tank believed to be in existence since the time of Mahabharata

To date many have tried but none have been able to measure the depth of Bheem Kund. #Thread
Normally, the natural water tanks of this kind have depth ranging from 5-30 m.

It is said that once scientists had sent their depth sensing camera up to 200 m underwater to find the depth of the pool, but the depth was still way deeper and the camera couldn`t measure it.
In spite of its antiquity, the waters of the Kund are pristine blue with fishes and aquatic life clearly visible.

Further the water level of the Kund is a indicator of natural calamities. When the water level rises, it is an indicator of impending disaster.
Mahabharata Connection

As per legend, during the Pandava exile Draupadi fainted out of dehydration. Bheem then raised his mace and hit it hard on the ground. The earth collapsed in that spot and water sprouted out of it. This is how Bheem Kund is believed to have been formed.
