Over the last few days, a post about plans to loot Buckhead on election night has circulated within rightwing echo chambers. Comments often blame BLM & antifa.

One place the post was shared is "Georgia Backs the Blue", a FB group with 28K members.

To be clear: this is total BS.

We're still looking into whether the original post was a joke that got taken out of context, or whether this was deliberate disinfo from the start.

But an actual plot or conspiracy, let alone some major antifa/BLM plot? Only in the minds of some very credulous rightwingers...

The Buckhead looting rumor has now made it to MyMilitia, a site where far-Right militia members recruit and organize.
