An excellent example of @treyanastasio using the @DigiTech Whammy II early in the Remain in Light set tonight. It's set to a 2-octave bend, so when you do a full sweep you get wild sounds. You can see him set it and start working the treadle at the start. #phishdinnerandamovie
Also check out this really cool effect. It looks/sounds like he dialed one of his reverbs to 100% wet. Curious to hear what others think this might be.
Reminder of Trey's move from extreme high headroom amps in 1.0 to high gain / low headroom amps in 3.0. He is absolutely hammering the guitar and every note is pristine. No preamp distortion, no output tube distortion. It was a defining characteristic of his mid-90s sound.
