ben tore off arthurs infected arm, we know this from Ghost. in Freaking Out, the arm scampers away. we dont see much of the arm until todays release, The Future, when we see this frame.

convinced he was after vivi. vivi was the one he was worried about, and arthur was the one he hated. he blames majority of what happened to him on arthur.
in Hellbent, theres a consistency in the cave scenes with one sad ghost. this is what causes lewis to (3/?)

grow sympathetic and realize that he was being led on by rage rather than just wanting vivi. then, by The Future, this confirms that lewis was never after vivi, he just wanted his old friendgroup back (because we see that lewis’s face is no longer obscured, with all members (4/?)
in the picture). lewis is embarrassed because he tried to nearly kill arthur beforehand, but he didnt attack him this time, so on that note he does care. note that his heart is not mended and its still grey and broken.

originally when hellbent released i made an assumption that vivi would’ve lost an arm considering the position she was in with the bat. thankfully i was wrong. HOWEVER the fight is definitely going to play a role in a lot more here.
