The Joe Biden who is running for President has definitely evolved. But he hasn't transformed. And that's problematic--*especially* if we fail to recognize it. Because we desperately *need* transformation.

When President Obama praises Biden as someone who respects everyone, and wants everyone's voice to be heard, I know that's not true.

So, yes. Do everything you can to make sure that Biden is elected. And that he has as big a majority to work with as possible--from the Senate down to state legislatures, and country commissioners, and dog-catchers. We need them all. Every last one. 3/5

But don't for a moment lie to yourself--or let others lie to you--about who and what Joe Biden is. He is part of the Democratic establishment that helped pave the way for Trump. And even his so-called "best instincts" were often implicated in that. 4/5

So, yes, Joe Biden has evolved. And I'm grateful for that. But he hasn't transformed. And transformation is what we need, to save ourselves. To save our planet. To save America. Because America, untransformed is just a broken promise.
